Bryerswood Youth Camp Optimist Club
The Premier Youth Camp of Essex County
Bryerswood Youth Camp Optimist Club, a registered charity, was formed in 2018. In 2021 the club purchased a 25-acre camp on Texas Road in Amherstburg. This year-round camp offers fun programs for children and youth, from 4 to 14, who reside in Windsor, Essex County and Chatham-Kent. A focus is placed upon life skills, leadership skills, outdoor camping skills and environmental stewardship. We provide a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for all children and youth.
